The Independent Music Club of Hope College is a school sponsored organization that curates the musical realm of the student body's independent culture. The group is composed of those students who find the various tributaries branching away from mainline culture to be more worthwhile than the readily available mass produced nonsense which floods through the wide gate of every campus in the world.
The primary aim of the IMC is to bring good music/film/art to the school's campus. Through these avenues we hope to foster a tight-knit, independently minded community of mature and intellectual students.

Paris is running this ship (she's the president). Get in touch with us, she'll listen to your great ideas and help make them come together. If you're a band, IMC has a decent budget, so let us know if you're driving through town.
If you're a student, and you think next weekend is the perfect time to rent some A/V projectors, buy a sushi platter and hire up an act in order to throw a little show in snow auditorium, by all means speak up.

The Spring Migration : Return to the Woods
This weekend's show was by all means enjoyable. Thank you Sam Adams, John Freigle, and They Were Thieves for playing beautiful music for us all.
Hopefully IMC can put on another show like it before the semester ends.
Keep your eyes peeled for two more shows already slated for this year. Ben & Bruno will open for Breathe Owl Breathe on April 28th. They will be playing in the Snow Auditorium. Earth Jam will take place as it usually does, we will let you know the details once we've got em ironed out.
